Threadbare

There is no wood, no stone, no ore. The only material in a dark sewing room is thread and stuffing pulled from your own cloth body. Every tool, every barricade, every torch comes out of you, and it does not grow back.

How it plays

• Stuffing is your health bar, your material pool and your size, all at once. Unravel yourself to make thread; every craft is a permanent HP payment.
• Six crafts, plain costs: a pin needle to fight back, a button shield, a thread barricade to seal an entrance, a matchlight, a thimble helm, and a patch that heals for less than it costs.
• Five nights, each shorter and worse than the last, ending with The Mending Hand -- a sewing machine that wants to repair you into someone else.
• Depletion has an upside: below 40 stuffing you fit through gaps the room never showed you.

Warm, tactile cross-stitch on visible aida cloth -- every sprite is a rendered X of two floss strokes, snapped to a 4px stitch grid, with the doll's own damage stitched rather than tinted.
